Stepping Back or Stepping Up?

Embracing Your Role in Birth and Early Fatherhood

Join us for a free class for soon-to-be dads and newly minted dads, focused on helping you understand and navigate your unique role during the birth of your child and the early months of fatherhood.

Childbirth and the first few months of infancy often pose new challenges for dads: you are asked to play a crucial yet non-essential role in which you are the focus of neither the action nor the attention and there is often very little that you can DO to contribute or alter the course of things.

And yet, just stepping aside and fading into the background would be a disservice to everyone involved.

How you show up and what you do do during these times is critically important for your partner, your child, and yourself (step 1: embrace jokes about doo-doo!).

There will be moments during birth and the “fourth trimester” in which you will be called upon for something essential and you need to be ready for them.

In this class, we'll explore how to support your partner during birth and the early postnatal period, manage the shift in dynamics as you establish a meaningful support role, and process the complex emotions that can arise during this transformative time. We'll work on letting go of preconceived expectations so that you are free to accept the experience for what it is and make meaningful contributions to your family’s wellbeing.

By the end of it, you’ll feel more empowered to manage whatever birth and infancy throw at you, staying engaged and supportive even when you're not in the spotlight.

Don't miss this opportunity to prepare for the realities of fatherhood and build a foundation for leading your family with humility, purpose, and presence. Reserve your spot today and step into this new chapter with confidence and clarity!
