Create a Home Life for Everyone to Thrive

Learn the simple, doable techniques for a less stressed, more connected family life with the structure and community to actually make it work

Open to all parents and caregivers!

There’s no denying it: raising kids today is too often just overwhelming.

There’s just too much stuff, too much information, too many choices, and too little time to make sense of it all - and that’s just how the adults feel, imagine what it’s like for little kids who are still developing their prefrontal cortexes and executive functioning!

All of this gets in the way of building close family bonds and can make kids anxious, create behavioral problems, and generally disrupt their healthy development and growth.

Thankfully, Simplicity Parenting offers evidence based, field-tested and proven methods for reducing this overwhelm and the problems it creates so that you can create the family life you’ve always dreamed of.

The Simplicity Parenting Class should be a required course for all parents. There is an expression that kids don’t come with an instruction manual. This class is the instruction manual. I found that the material applies to other aspects of life including business.
— Brian, dad of 2yr/old

What You’ll Get

Less:

  • Physical, mental, and emotional clutter - getting in everyone’s way

  • Stress on your kid(s), yourself, and anyone else in the family

  • Emotional outbursts and challenging behavior to manage

  • Judgement or feelings that you’re not “doing parenting right”

More:

  • Connection and closeness among family members

  • Peace and stability in the home

  • Enjoyment from parenting and time with your kid(s)

  • Confidence and satisfaction in your choices in parenting

  • Support from a trained facilitator and from other cool parents going through similar things and aiming for the same goals

It can feel daunting to take on a text and implement changes in your daily rhythm, but Drew’s course helped us to make movements towards the kind of harmony and growth we’d always aimed for. We also loved that the class made it easy to maintain our personal values and ideals.
— Sarah, mom of 5 & 2 yr/olds

This is Not an Instructional Course on How You “Should” Parent

If we want to feel embarrassed or ashamed about our parenting decisions, there are plenty of opportunities for that on our social media feeds or maybe even within our own families!

In this group, we’ll examine together expert resources to give us an idea of what to aim for and then work together on how to translate it into goals, strategies, and actions that meet the realities of our own lives in the real world.

Parenting is hard but it was never meant to be as isolating and frustrating as we make it today. Gathering together with a group of like-minded parents helps us provide us all the validation, encouragement, and support we need to create family lives centered on harmony, joy, and genuine connection.

Plus, working together with others makes the whole thing a lot more fun!

  • "Drew Sample's facilitated course on 'Simplicity Parenting' was outstanding. His deft approach to combining the insightful content of Kim John Payne with engaging discussion among the parents produced a superb learning environment. We now approach our children with more empathy, operate with a more conscious and constructive rhythm at home, and have removed from our lives some of the activities and possessions that were disorienting our family."

    Jamie, dad of 12 and 6 yr/olds

  • "I woud highly recommend the Simplicity Parenting course to anyone seeking practical ways to bring simplicity and balance into their daily family life. One of the highlights of the course was the engaging discussions with other parents, which provided a valuable opportunity to gain different perspectives and insights. The material presented in the course offered excellent practical strategies that I found easy and useful in introducing Simplicity Parenting principles into my own family. Overall, the course was enriching, enlightening, and has made a positive impact on our family dynamics."

    Remy, dad of 6 yr/old

How It Works

The group meets once a week over 4 weeks and is open to caregivers of all identities - dads, moms, nonbinary, and non-parent caregivers.

In our sessions we review video material from Kim John Payne together, pausing to discuss the material, share experiences, and determine how to integrate it into our lives.

Couples can attend sessions together or in whatever way works best for your family.
