Ecstatic Breathwork

Being a parent demands a lot and doesn’t leave much room for giving yourself the gift of a peak experience. Of course, it’s exactly those kinds of experiences that also give you the juice to be your best with and for your family.

Breathwork offers accessible and effective ways for managing your mental and emotional health that (crucially) can be employed anywhere from a few seconds up to an hour and thus easily fit into your busy life.

Ecstatic breathwork is a breathing protocol that alters your blood pH and activates specific neural pathways to create peak states that can generate somatic releases or unique insights and inspiration.

Basically, it’s a mental, emotional, and physical reset that endows you with refreshed and revitalized energy to take back to parenting, working, and living.

It is also safe and controlled, since you manage your own experience by controlling the pace and depth of your breath.

In this workshop, we will learn about the alchemy of breath, experience an ecstatic breathwork protocol together, and have time afterward to discuss and integrate the experience.

*Contraindications to participating in a breathwork session include epilepsy, pregnancy, detached retina, glaucoma, high blood pressure that is not controlled with medication, cardiovascular disease including but not limited to prior heart attack, use of prescription blood thinners such as Coumadin, history of aneurysms in immediate family, strokes, TIAs, seizures or other brain/neurological condition or disease, prior diagnosis by a health professional of bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, osteoporosis whereby intense movement could cause physical issues.
